CHAMBERS ST SUBWAY STATION

Located in the heart of downtown Manhattan, under the NYC Municipal Building and adjacent to City Hall, One Police Plaza and the Courts, Chambers Street is one of the busiest and most visible stations in the NYCT system. MLJ has been contracted by the MTA to provide ADA accessibility and improve the aesthetics of this station. This is a complex project, in that the station also serves as a transfer station to another subway line. Increased ADA accessibility at this station will have a huge impact on the daily lives of the many City residents and workers who frequent the facilities nearby.
